Block Bookings & Cancellation Policy
To accommodate your busy lifestyle, varying weather conditions, and other eventualities, I provide flexible scheduling options across my services. Managing this flexibility requires careful advance planning. During peak periods, my calendar often reaches full capacity, meaning I must decline new bookings. When you reserve your time, I hold that specific slot exclusively for you and organise my entire mobile route around confirmed appointments. This commitment means I frequently decline other potential clients who request the same hours.
I completely understand that life happens—schedules change, emergencies arise, and both people and dogs can become unwell. To ensure I can continue offering this personalised, flexible service to all clients, please review the core policies and block booking terms outlined below before finalising your booking.
1. Validity Window & Expiry
4-Month Limit: All 6-hour advance blocks must be fully completed within 4 months of the initial purchase date.
Consistency Matters: Behaviour modification and Walk & Train hours are most effective when taken regularly. Gaps in training can significantly slow down your dog's progress.
Expiry Policy: Any hours remaining unused after the 4-month window will automatically expire and cannot be refunded, discounted, or carried over.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
48-Hour Rule: I operate a strict 48-hour cancellation policy for all scheduled appointments, including single hours and block bookings.
Late Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule an hour, you must provide at least 48 hours' notice via WhatsApp or email.
Forfeited Hours: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in that session being forfeited. The same applies to missed appointments if I arrive at our agreed location and you are unavailable.
Late Arrivals: If you are late, the session will default to ending at the originally scheduled time. Whether the lost time can be made up is entirely at my discretion and depends strictly on my travel schedule and subsequent bookings for that day.
3. Adverse Weather & Trainer Emergencies
Normal Weather: As a fully mobile behaviourist, I am well-equipped for classic British weather. Hours will go ahead as normal in standard wind and rain.
Severe Conditions: If the weather becomes genuinely unsafe for outdoor training—such as dangerous summer heatwaves, torrential thunderstorms, or sheet ice—I will contact you as early as possible.
Trainer Illness: In the rare event that I must cancel due to sudden illness or an emergency, I will notify you immediately. Your session will be rescheduled at your convenience with no loss to your block.
No Lost Hours: In these rare cases, we will either adapt the hour to take place safely indoors at your home, or reschedule for a later date without any penalty to your block. (For clients meeting me at Brockwell Park severe weather hours will be rescheduled or moved online).
4. Payments, Refunds & Bank Holidays
Upfront Payment: All advance blocks must be paid for in full via bank transfer at least 24 hours before your first scheduled hour commences.
Non-Refundable: Once a single hour is booked or a block package has begun, payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to other dog owners.
Bank Holidays: I remain open and fully operational on UK Bank Holidays. If you have a regular slot that falls on a Bank Holiday, our session will go ahead as normal unless you request a change, which remains subject to the standard 48-hour cancellation policy.
Important Note: By completing your payment and booking your slot, you automatically confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Block Bookings & Cancellation Policy outlined above.
