How I Work
We start by understanding your dog's specific challenges through a 2-step initial process:
1-hour diagnostic consultation and assessment
1-hour practical training and observation session
(2 Hours for our initial consultation meeting)
Sessions can be held at my facility or your home (travel fees may apply for home visits).
Using evidence-based methods, I'll create a customised training plan designed specifically for your dog's needs. We'll reconnect 1-2 weeks later to review your progress and refine our approach based on your implementation and your dog's response.
Follow-up sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours and may be recommended depending on your dog's learning pace, the complexity of the behavioural issues, and how consistent you are with training.
Whatever the Issue
With expertise spanning a wide spectrum of canine behavioural challenges, I offer specialised training solutions for issues like excessive reactivity, leash pulling, excessive barking, poor recall, separation and general anxiety, fear, aggression, biting, nipping, mouthing and much more. Leveraging positive, modern training methods and the latest research, I help owners develop balanced, confident and happy dogs through personalised, evidence-based solutions.
Pricing
I offer tailored training packages designed to meet the unique needs of you and your dog. Recognising that each dog learns differently and at their own pace, we'll collaboratively review and evaluate progress throughout our journey to ensure the perfect, customised approach. Typically, my clients book between 4 to 6 hours of one-on-one training to achieve their specific goals.
The Ideal Training Environment
We’ll start our training sessions in my secure garden, the perfect place for early learning with minimal distractions.
This calm and neutral space allows your dog to focus entirely on the training, making it easier for them to grasp new skills.
Once your dog is comfortable, we’ll move to public spaces, like Brockwell Park, which is just five minutes away.
Here, your dog will experience more social interactions with other dogs and humans, adding an extra layer of challenge and distraction for more advanced learning.
This gradual approach ensures your dog learns at a steady pace, making training both effective and enjoyable.
